celebration of the 30th anniversary of the landmark discovery and
application of DNA fingerprinting, the University of Leicester invites
researchers and practitioners to attend a conference sharing new innovations in
forensic science, spanning novel technologies, emerging methods and
inter-disciplinary research.  This is an event for practitioners,
researchers and industrialists to explore the latest research and develop
thinking to take professional practice forward.

 The
latest innovations and expertise from across the Alec Jeffreys Forensic Science
Institute are included, covering DNA, cold case investigation, violent crime,
forensic pathology and fingerprints. There is no registration fee, but booking
is required.
