British Science Week poster competition

Get your students’ creative juices flowing and enter the annual British Science Week poster competition! This year’s theme is ‘journeys’. Here’s how you can get involved:

Step one: Research different journeys. As well as journeys involving travel, think about journeys of discovery, journeys through time, journeys of animal and plants etc. Let these provide inspiration for your poster designs.

Step two: Get creative! Think about what different materials and colours you could use when designing the poster.

Step three: Send your poster to the British Science Association by 5 April 2019.

Details of how to enter can be found in the British Science Week activity packs.

🌟Top tip🌟 avoid using straws or glitter!  These single-use plastics can end up in the ocean, causing harm to marine ecosystems.

This years partner is Guinness World Records who are supporting the poster competition by providing a copy of the Guinness World Records 2019 Edition to the winner in each category. In addition, they’re offering a very special prize for the Junior winner… the chance to spend a day in the life of the Guinness World Records team at the global headquarters, to see with their own eyes how they review evidence and verify new records for extraordinary journeys.

Find out more about the prizes on offer, and how to enter below.
